Pulls the deals together
With a property career that started in the early 1980’s, Bik co-founded Greenridge with Paul in 1994. Bik generally provides “the glue” that pulls the team’s deals together – structuring, the legal aspects and generally making things happen. A particular source of pride is providing investment partners with comprehensive strategic advice that can be applied on the ground when constructing an investment portfolio. In his free time Bik is writing a vegetarian cookbook. A wine connoisseur, he also loves useful new gadgets, and experiencing new cultures.
Strategy and origination
Paul co-founded Greenridge with Bik in 1994, and has taken the lead role in devising strategy and asset origination. With over 30 years of direct property investment experience, his contacts in all areas of the real estate industry have proven instrumental in securing the business transaction flow that meets the investment objectives of Greenridge and its partners. He is also adept at finding and realising value that other investors miss.Outside work, a young family keeps him busy, but he finds time to play jazz piano, travel and enjoy wine and football.
DEEP INVESTMENT EXPERTISE
Alex brings to Greenridge a broad network of contacts and deep knowledge of the institutional investor base. A qualified Chartered Surveyor with a BSc in Land Management from Reading, he acquired extensive experience as an investor at Aviva and Kames Capital. At Kames Capital Alex bought over 40 properties for a £500m tax-efficient retail vehicle (PAIF), and he has acquired properties all over the UK, from a retail park in Wick (northern Scotland) to The Hive, an innovative development in Manchester’s thriving Northern Quarter. Away from the office, Alex plays golf, has a handicap of 6 and is a keen skier.
Building on his background as a Chartered Accountant in practice specialising in corporate finance, Paul’s penchant is corporate development and strategy. He is particularly adept at finding solutions to assist corporate growth, and with his experience oversees all accounting and taxation matters. As a non-executive, Paul also advises other companies including property development, media and tech all of which brings a broader perspective to his advisory work with Greenridge. Outside of work, Paul is an avid reader and landscape photographer, with a deep interest also in the visual arts and classical, particularly choral music.
MAXIMISING INVESTMENT RETURNS
Alison has a wealth of property investment expertise gained over 17 years in the Fund Management industry. She is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and University of Durham Geography graduate. Alison has spent her career acquiring and managing properties at BNP Paribas REIM and Canada Life on behalf of institutional clients. Alison is principally responsible for ensuring property returns are maximised by executing asset management initiatives and managing property acquisitions and disposals. As a keen sportswoman Alison enjoys playing and coaching hockey at her local club.
SOURCING AND SECURING DEBT
Tracey has in excess of 25 years’ experience in commercial real estate finance and is an effective communicator and negotiator. Throughout her career Tracey has worked in loan origination, restructuring and loan workout. Prior to Greenridge Tracey worked at Capita Asset Services focused on balance sheet, whole and B note loans as well as complex CMBS structures across all commercial asset classes in a number of European jurisdictions. Tracey has developed a strong network of contacts in the industry and has a good eye for risk analysis alongside transaction management and deals execution.Outside work Tracey spends time with her family. She enjoys cooking and considers herself to be a foodie who enjoys travelling and wine tasting.
Modelling investment opportunities
A Maths and Accounting graduate, David is a Chartered Accountant and head of finance at Greenridge. He manages the internal accounting for Greenridge Group companies, and also models the appraisals and cash flows for individual investment transactions. A keen traveller – he is targeting Mount Kilimanjaro in 2019 – he enjoys working with Greenridge’s very international investor base. Outside work he plays tennis and keeps fit for his next big trip.
Keeping the office ticking
An executive PA for nearly two decades, Ayse is approachable, calm and very organised. Having studied at the London College of Fashion, she worked in hair and beauty before spending over 15 years as an executive PA at ICAP and The Rank Group. At Greenridge, she contributes to the team spirit and the relaxed atmosphere. Outside of work she is still fascinated by fashion.
Patrick recently completed an MSc in Real Estate at the University of Reading with Distinction, focusing principally on Real Estate Fund Management. Patrick manages our investment introductions as he looks to apply, and further develop his knowledge of Real Estate Investment. A keen cricketer, Patrick is a member of the Marylebone Cricket Club and plays for Hertfordshire, on top of being a keen golfer and footballer.
Compliance and Regulatory
With over 22 years’ experience in the financial services industry in various compliance related positions, Giles is responsible for the Greenridge’s compliance with existing and future regulation. In addition to that role, Giles leads the investor onboarding process from and deals with KYC and Anti Money Laundering processes.
A genuine can-do approach
An executive assistant with experience of the private equity and venture capital world, Jo has been at Greenridge since 2015. A can-do person, she is a big contributor to keeping the positive Greenridge office vibe as the business expands.
